1. About these Terms
These Terms of Use govern your use of the Malaysian edition of Unum at https://unum.com.br/my/ (the “Website”), owned by ETUS DIGITAL LLC (“Unum”, “we” or “us”), a limited liability company organised in the State of Florida, United States (Florida Division of Corporations, Document No. L19000150138), 601 Brickell Key Drive, Suite 901, Miami, FL 33131, United States, email contact@unum.com.br. Please read these Terms before using the Website. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the Website.
2. What Unum is
Unum is an independent editorial website that publishes reviews, comparisons, guides and news about credit cards, loans and personal finance in Malaysia.
- Unum is not a bank, financial institution, moneylender or card issuer.
- Unum does not lend money, does not offer financial products, does not receive or process applications, does not take out credit or financing on your behalf, does not assess anyone’s creditworthiness and plays no part in approving any product. Those decisions are made solely by each provider.
- Our content is general information only. It is not a personalised recommendation or financial, legal or tax advice.
- The Website is free to use. Unum will never ask you for payments, transfers or fees.
- The Website is intended for adults aged 18 and over.
3. Accuracy of information
We work to keep information accurate and up to date. However, interest and profit rates, effective interest rates (EIR), annual fees, finance charges and other terms, as well as offers and eligibility criteria, are set by each provider and may change without notice, so the information on the Website may not always match the provider’s. Before you apply, check the current terms and the product disclosure sheet on the provider’s official website, and check that the provider is licensed or registered with the relevant Malaysian authority. For moneylenders, you can check the licence with the Ministry of Local Government Development (KPKT).
4. Links to third-party websites
When you click on a product, you leave the Website and go to the provider’s official website, where you can apply directly if you wish. Unum does not control those websites and is not responsible for their content, terms or privacy practices.
5. Advertising
The Website is funded exclusively by advertising from third-party networks, including Google. Unum receives no compensation from banks or financial companies for its reviews. Advertising does not determine our ratings or the order in which we present products, and advertising is clearly labelled as such.
6. Using the Website
You agree to use the Website lawfully and, in particular, not to:
- Use it for unlawful or fraudulent purposes or in a way that infringes the rights of others.
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to its systems, disrupt its operation or introduce malicious code.
- Extract its content in bulk using automated tools without our written permission.

Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act 1999 or any other applicable law of Malaysia, or excludes any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

10. Changes
We may change these Terms. Before a significant change takes effect, we will publish a notice on this page with the date the new version applies from. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its date. If you do not agree with the new Terms, you can stop using the Website.
