Unum is an independent editorial website about personal finance. At unum.com.br/my we publish reviews, comparisons and news about credit cards, personal loans and other financial products available in Malaysia, so you can understand and compare them before going to the provider that offers them.
Who is behind Unum
Unum is a brand of ETUS DIGITAL LLC, a limited liability company organised in the State of Florida, United States, on 6 June 2019 (Florida Division of Corporations, Document No. L19000150138), with its address at 601 Brickell Key Drive, Suite 901, Miami, FL 33131, United States. Unum publishes local editions for more than 30 countries, each in the local language and focused on its own market.
What we do
- We review credit cards and loans: rates, fees, eligibility, benefits and drawbacks.
- We compare products from different providers using criteria we explain in each review.
- We publish guides and news that explain concepts such as the effective interest rate (EIR), the difference between flat and effective rates, and the total cost of credit.
- We review and update our content when providers change their terms or when we find an error.
What we don’t do
Unum is not a bank, financial institution, moneylender or card issuer. We do not lend money, we do not receive, process or forward applications, we do not take out credit or financing on your behalf, we do not assess anyone’s creditworthiness and we do not give personalised financial advice. When a product interests you, we send you to the provider’s official website, which is where you apply. We will never ask you for payments, transfers or bank details.
How we are funded
Unum is free to read. We are funded exclusively by advertising shown on the site by third-party networks, including Google. We receive no compensation from banks or financial companies for our reviews. Advertising does not determine our ratings or the order in which we present products.
