This Cookie Policy applies to the UK edition of Unum (https://unum.com.br/gb/), owned by ETUS DIGITAL LLC. It explains which cookies and similar technologies we use and how you can control them, in line with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR), as amended by the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025, and the UK GDPR.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. They help the website work, remember your preferences, measure visits and serve advertising. This policy also covers similar technologies such as pixels and local storage.

Your choices
When you first visit the website, we ask for your consent to non-essential cookies, with options to accept, reject or choose by purpose. Until you choose, we use only strictly necessary cookies. You can change your choices or withdraw consent at any time through the privacy and cookie settings link available on the website. The quizzes at responda.unum.com.br show the same banner, and the Meta, TikTok and Google pixels do not run until you accept advertising cookies. If you reject cookies, you can still use the website, and Google may show you limited ads, which do not use cookies or identifiers to personalise advertising.
You can also:
- Delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the website may not work.
- Turn off personalised Google ads at https://myadcenter.google.com/.
International transfers
Some providers, including Google, Lotame, Meta and TikTok, may process information collected through cookies outside the UK, in particular in the United States. See section 7 of our Privacy Policy.
