This Cookie Policy applies to the Irish edition of Unum (https://unum.com.br/ie/), owned by ETUS DIGITAL LLC. It explains which cookies and similar technologies we use and how you can control them, in line with Regulation 5 of the European Communities (Electronic Communications Networks and Services) (Privacy and Electronic Communications) Regulations 2011 and the GDPR.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser when you visit it. They help the website work, remember your preferences, measure visits and serve advertising. This policy also covers similar technologies such as pixels and local storage.

The cookie settings panel always shows the current list of providers, the purpose of each and how long their cookies last.
Your choices
When you first visit the website, we ask for your consent to non-essential cookies, with options to accept, reject or choose by purpose. Until you choose, we use only strictly necessary cookies. You can change your choices or withdraw consent at any time through the privacy and cookie settings link available on the website. If you reject cookies, you can still use the website, and Google shows only limited ads, which do not use cookies for advertising purposes and are not personalised to you. Lotame and our own measurement tool wait for your consent.
You can also:
- Delete or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block strictly necessary cookies, parts of the website may not work.
- Turn off personalised Google ads at https://myadcenter.google.com/.
International transfers
Some providers, including Google and Lotame, may process information collected through cookies outside the European Economic Area, in particular in the United States.
