Every 100 Audacious Rewards points is worth R1. Points expire three years after issue. Cash conversion is temporarily unavailable due to technical issues.
What you pay to keep and open your Black card
Interest rates are variable. The R69 monthly service fee adds up to R828 over 12 months. Initiation costs R147. Both fees include 15% VAT; these amounts are not the card’s total cost.
African Bank may adjust your fees and interest rates, or change or withdraw rebates. This requires written notice to you under the National Credit Act.

To join Audacious Rewards, log in to the app or online banking. Choose My Rewards, then Get Started to activate your membership.
What should I do if my Black Credit Card is lost or stolen?
If your card is lost or stolen, block it in the app or online banking. A replacement costs R136.50, including 15% VAT.
Will I pay for data when I use the app or online banking?
The app and online banking are data-free only on MTN and Vodacom. You may pay data charges on Cell C and Telkom.
How much credit can I request with African Bank Black?
You can request up to R500k, with your limit subject to African Bank’s terms, conditions and affordability rules.
